Context

When the new Medisch Spectrum Twente hospital opened in 2016, every bed got something no Dutch hospital had at that scale: its own iPad running Gastvrij MST, the patient platform we designed and built. Patients watch TV, order food and drinks, browse the web and see their treatment information, their caregivers and even their expected discharge date in a personal dashboard. The launch with 700 iPads made national news, and the platform set the standard for hospitality technology in European hospitals. Ten years on it still runs every single day, including the Apple TV app we built for the televisions.

A new hospital deserves more than a coin-operated bedside phone

MST built a brand-new top clinical hospital in the heart of Enschede and wanted the patient experience to be as progressive as the care itself. The classic solution, expensive bedside terminals with pay-tv, did not match that ambition. They needed one platform bringing together comfort, information and care, securely connected to the EHR and usable by patients of all ages.

One platform for comfort, service and insight into treatment

We designed and built Gastvrij MST as a native platform: an iPad app at every bed and an Apple TV app for the televisions. Big buttons, clear structure, instantly understandable. Patients run their own day: 40+ TV channels and 50 radio stations, ordering food and drinks, calling a service employee, and following their own treatment in a personal dashboard, from caregivers to expected discharge date. On discharge every iPad is wiped automatically.

Intechniek

Intechniek – AI portal that automatically turns candidates into profiles

Intechniek wanted to work faster and more consistently in a tight labor market. Recruiters and account managers received large volumes of candidate information through CVs, intake forms, notes and separate documents. That information had to be read manually, interpreted and rewritten into usable candidate profiles. This took a lot of time and created differences in quality, structure and completeness. Together with Intechniek, Score Agency developed an AI portal that automates a large part of this process. Using local AI, candidate data, CVs and additional input are processed safely within a controlled environment. The platform automatically turns unstructured information into clear, consistent and ready-to-use profiles. This allows Intechniek to move faster toward both clients and candidates.
